About Nicole Green

Homeschooling for Autism and Beyond was founded by Nicole Green, an autism parent, homeschool educator, and advocate who understands firsthand that raising and educating autistic children requires flexibility, compassion, and a deep respect for each child’s nervous system and individuality.

Nicole’s work is shaped by lived experience, years of homeschooling, and professional insight drawn from special education, behavior support, and parent coaching frameworks. She blends practical strategies with a regulation-first, neurodiversity-affirming approach that prioritizes emotional safety, connection, and sustainable learning—both for children and for parents.

As a homeschooling parent of autistic children, Nicole knows the overwhelm, self-doubt, and burnout that can come with trying to “do it right” while navigating systems that weren’t designed with neurodivergent families in mind. Her mission is to help parents release pressure, trust their instincts, and build homeschool environments that honor how their children actually learn.
